On January 20 - 22 more than 250 participants gathered at the Swiss Re Centre for Global Dialogue at the shores of the Lake Zurich for the Seventh Global Summit on Social Entrepreneurship organized by the Schwab Foundation.
To this event were invited accomplished social entrepreneurs selected to the Schwab Foundation´s community, leaders and senior managers of foundations, investment banks, private equity firms, global corporations, academic institutions and media companies.
The focus of the summit, "Conecting Markets and Meaning", reviewed the ways "resource providers" engage and compromise with Social Entrepreneurs to achieve their respective missions. A great variety of individuals and organizations support social entrepreneurs from capital to advice on areas of critical importance to the development of their organizations.
